What if your education in herbalism could take you beyond memorizing the properties of plants?

For Jessica Parrotte, the path to becoming a certified hypnotherapist and Integrative Healing Arts Practitioner began decades before she ever stepped foot into a SWIHA classroom.
As a young teenager, Jessica witnessed the impact hypnotherapy had on a friend’s mother, who used the modality to lose weight and quit smoking. The experience stayed with her. Years later, she even wrote a college thesis on hypnotherapy—yet after graduation, the subject remained on the back burner for many years.
Eventually, life brought Jessica back to the modality she had never truly forgotten.

For 25 years, Delana Gosa built her career in conventional healthcare, working in medical billing and healthcare administration. That calling led her to Southwest Institute of Healing Arts (SWIHA), where she enrolled in the Holistic Health and Wellness Coaching program, specializing in Holistic Nutrition.

Have you ever had a feeling that you should take a certain path, call someone, wait before making a decision, or simply trust what you already know—even when you couldn't quite explain why?
That feeling may be your intuition speaking.
Intuition is often described as an inner knowing: information, awareness, or insight that seems to arise without a lengthy process of conscious reasoning. For many people, intuition can feel like a quiet nudge, a feeling in the body, a sudden insight, a sense of clarity, or an unmistakable “knowing.”

For Julia Compton, choosing an education in the healing arts was about more than learning new modalities—it was about answering a deeper calling.
After more than a decade working in the cannabis industry, Julia had already spent years helping people explore wellness, education, and alternative approaches to healing.
