My life was very depressing, painful, and boring before SWIHA. After being discouraged by doctors and being told that there was nothing they could do for me outside of praying, I got fed up and felt I needed to take matters into my own hands. I scrolled on Facebook, saw the SWIHA ad, and did some research! Shortly after, I decided to switch schools and majors. I started going to school for business and management yet I wasn't happy - I just felt I needed it. So after signing up for SWIHA, I had in my mind that I would use what I was being taught to heal myself. However, as I progressed throughout my studies, I began to get all types of ideas on ways I could help others heal.”

Alike many other SWIHA graduates, who once walked our halls, they found themselves embarking on a journey to heal themself, yet, by the end of their program, they gained a newfound passion for helping others. RaiQuisha Alexander, Great Graduate of the Integrative Healing Arts Practitioner Diploma program, found this common path to be true for herself. An affirming moment for RaiQuisha was, “When everything started to align with my journey. My interests, daily activities, and mindset changed, there were more synchronicities with numbers and messages through songs and animals. I became more open while inner standing myself and my gifts. I knew when old triggers weren't triggering anymore” asserts RaiQuisha. All of these signs and daily habits only confirmed more that RaiQuisha was on the right path.

Reflecting on her life now that she has completed her program, RaiQuisha shares, “Yes, my life has changed drastically. I'm more mindful, understanding, and compassionate with myself others, and life in general. I am now managing my life instead of allowing it to manage me. I've become more open and graceful while accepting and embracing what is. My soul is more at peace than before.

Now having graduated from the program, RaiQuisha is working on starting her own business which she has called The Healing Journey 360. As she is working on building up clientele for her holistic healing practice, RaiQuisha plans to offer various services such as Hypnotherapy, Aromatherapy candles, and Spiritual Life Coaching. RaiQuisha asserts, “I have already impacted my test trial clients by helping them manage their weight, stop smoking cigarettes, and move forward towards their goals. SWIHA has taught me how to be the coach I need as well as the coach that the world needs.”

The greatest lesson that RaiQuisha gained from SWIHA was, “How to manage my life and that there are unhealthy ways to resiliency just like it is with everything else in life.”

I am beyond proud of myself. From going through a bad breakup and flare-up, near-death experience, almost losing my best friend, car troubles, health scare with my daughter, losing a few cousins and grandpa, having my fourth child and going through issues with her dad, to being completely done and managed to maintain a 4.0 the whole time is amazing to me. Also surprising as well might I add.”
