Health and Wellness Coaching Graduate Grace Warren

When Grace Warren enrolled in SWIHA’s Holistic Health and Wellness Coaching program, she was stepping onto a path shaped by purpose, healing, and an unwavering commitment to support women in their most vulnerable moments. As a recent graduate, Grace is already preparing to launch a coaching business grounded in holistic living and dedicated to women’s health—specifically fertility, pregnancy, postpartum care, and hormone balance.

Grace’s passion for this path didn’t arise from textbooks or trends—it was born from her own story.

From Struggle to Purpose

Just a couple of years after high school, Grace found herself unsure about the future. Originally drawn to natural aesthetics, her focus shifted after experiencing a painful miscarriage. That loss opened her eyes to the silent, underserved struggles so many women face in the areas of fertility and postpartum health. “I became passionate about women’s health and hormones,” Grace shares. “It’s important not only to my own journey - it’s important for all the other women who have gone through the same thing.”

Her experience awakened a deeper awareness of how often women’s health is overlooked. "Women are understudied and underappreciated in healthcare," Grace explains. "We carry a mental load that can take a real toll—yet the advice we receive is often surface-level. I want to change that.”

The Power of a Holistic Lifestyle

Grace experienced a “defining moment” when she discovered the concept of holistic living. From that point forward, she made significant changes to her lifestyle and diet, ultimately healing her hormones and overcoming a two-year battle with infertility. Today, she is not only launching a business—she is also preparing for the arrival of her new baby.

It’s been a powerful transformation,” she says. “The holistic lifestyle helped me become a healthier version of myself. Now, I want to offer that same possibility to other women.”

Coaching with Compassion and Credibility

Grace is currently preparing to soft-launch her online coaching practice, which will offer support for women through all stages of hormonal shifts—from fertility and pregnancy to postpartum and beyond. Her approach is rooted in the understanding that women are the anchors of their families and communities—and when they are supported, society thrives.

Through SWIHA, Grace has developed skills in both coaching and nutrition that will serve as the foundation of her business. She credits her instructors, Ms. Sharlene Nordquist and Ms. Dee McCaffrey, with helping her grow in both confidence and competence. “Sharlene helped me believe in my coaching skills, and Dee taught me so much about health and diet,” Grace recalls.

Among the most valuable lessons she’s learned so far? Grit. “SWIHA taught me how to push through resistance and keep going even when I felt unmotivated. That lesson has changed everything.”

Advice for Future Students

For those considering their own holistic health education journey, Grace offers heartfelt advice: “Enjoy the journey along the way. It may be overwhelming at times; however, stay true to yourself. The experience is so rewarding—and the friends you make along the way are amazing!”
