Stefanie Booker Atchison came to SWIHA during a difficult chapter of her life: “The economic downturn of the housing/mortgage crisis hurt me like it did a lot of others. It robbed me of my job, my comfortable salary and my home. It took my savings and my self-esteem, too. By the time I made my way to Arizona, I was halfway through my unemployment benefits and working an entry-level position at a local law firm. While I was grateful for the work, I was in an office job that didn't speak to who I was.”

Stefanie knew she needed a major shift, and decided to pursue an Associates Degree in MInd-Body Transformational Psychology. She tells us: “The minute I walked through the door, I felt seen, I felt heard, and I knew I wanted to study with people that could do that while being authentic.”

Her journey led her to create her business, Heartwise Holistics, where she uses a combination of hypnotherapy and coaching. “I fell in love with hypnosis and life coaching, which is why I decided to focus on hypno-coaching,” explains Stefanie, “I understood that it could offer my clients the greatest opportunity to tap into their subconscious desires for empowerment, growth and to develop a roadmap to a clearer frame of mind while bringing about the significant changes in their lives they are looking for. It allows them to create new inner beliefs & take the steps that will set the wheels in motion to transform the way they think and feel and create the life they want to live.”

“Typically, my clients are struggling,” she continues, “They are having difficulty with getting back up on their feet or back to center when they have lost a job, a relationship, a loved one or their sense of self. They're struggling with stress, anxiety, phobias or feeling limited. We go through concrete ways to bring direction and control back them through thought-provoking questions and exercises.”

Stefanie describes Life Coaching as a synergistic relationship: “It is a process that helps to bring about desired change by building on the client's strengths as a basis for moving forward in any area of life. My primary job as a coach is to help clients become clear about what their really want, clarify pertinent values and desires, identify goals and create a plan to get it.”

“I believe everyone deserves to know themselves better like I have,” she emphasizes, “I love seeing the spark come alive in them when I help someone uncover the wisdom they already have. When they realize they have everything inside them to support using their own voice, to live more joyfully. Somebody did it for me...and now it's my turn.”
