“Life coaching is the art of creating a space where people can clearly define where they currently are in life, where they want to go, and the steps it will take to get there,” John Eli, Virtual Mindset Coach, tells us.

John works in higher education and made the decision to pursue SWIHA’s Life Coaching program when he discovered his desire to meet and network with like-minded individuals. His education ultimately became a business that also fulfills this need for him!

“I work with men who are fed up with allowing their past and present circumstances define who they are and where they are going,” he says.

In sessions, John works with those men to reframe thinking, discover new possibilities and reach their personal goals. As Life Coaching is all about digging deep and finding the answers within, he implements his own unique technique to achieve this: “I invite my clients to imagine that they are someone else giving a person who is just like them the advice that they need.”

“I believe that my purpose in life is to bring hope, healing, and encouragement to others,” says John, “Coaching helps me to fulfill my purpose.”
