As the seasons change and autumn settles into Arizona, it’s a beautiful time to slow down, reconnect, and make space for community, creativity, and wellness. This November, Southwest Institute of Healing Arts (SWIHA) invites the community to do just that at SWIHA’s Fall Festival in Tempe, Arizona.
Taking place on Saturday, November 14, this complimentary community event brings together people who share an interest in holistic wellness, healing arts, movement, creativity, and conscious living.
Whether you’re already part of the SWIHA community, exploring holistic wellness for the first time, or simply looking for something meaningful to do with family and friends, the Fall Festival is an opportunity to experience the welcoming spirit of SWIHA.
SWIHA’s Fall Festival is more than a traditional fall gathering. It is a celebration of the many ways people can support their well-being and connect with others.
Throughout the day, guests can explore experiences centered around yoga, healing arts, wellness, movement, creativity, and community. The festival brings together practitioners, vendors, students, graduates, instructors, and members of the public for a day designed to encourage connection and discovery.
One of the special highlights of this year’s Fall Festival is a lineup of community classes and gatherings designed to bring people together through movement, music, and sound.
Bring your yoga mat, your voice, and an open heart as you join these complimentary experiences:
9:00 a.m. — All-Levels Yoga with Will Zecco
Location: The Greenbelt
Start your festival day with movement, breath, and connection during an all-levels yoga class led by Will Zecco. Whether you’re new to yoga or have an established practice, this class offers a welcoming way to move your body and settle into the day.
11:00 a.m. — Song Circle with Juli Burdette
Location: The Greenbelt
Gather in community for a joyful Song Circle led by Juli Burdette. Come share in the power of music and collective voice as we create connection through song.
3:00 p.m. — Closing Ceremony & Sound Healing with Will Zecco
Location: SWIHA
Bring your festival experience to a peaceful close with a special Closing Ceremony and Sound Healing session led by Will Zecco. Take some time to pause, reflect, and enjoy the restorative vibrations of sound as we celebrate the day together.
Whether you join us for one class or make a day of it, these community gatherings are a wonderful way to experience the heart of SWIHA’s wellness community.
One of the most exciting parts of a community wellness event is the opportunity to step outside your everyday routine and try something different.
Maybe you’ll discover a new wellness practice. Perhaps you’ll connect with a local practitioner, explore offerings from small businesses and entrepreneurs, or simply enjoy spending time surrounded by people who value personal growth and holistic living.
The Fall Festival also provides an opportunity to learn more about the many paths within the healing arts. SWIHA offers education in areas including massage therapy, yoga, holistic health and wellness coaching, hypnotherapy, herbalism, mind-body wellness, and integrative healing arts.
For anyone considering a career change or looking for an educational path that feels aligned with their interests and values, attending an SWIHA event can be a great way to experience the community firsthand.
SWIHA has long been connected to a community of practitioners, entrepreneurs, educators, and wellness professionals.
The Fall Festival offers an opportunity to support that community while discovering products, services, ideas, and practices from people who are passionate about what they do. Previous festivals have brought together dozens of vendors and practitioners, creating space for attendees to shop, connect, ask questions, and learn about local wellness offerings.
It’s also a chance to meet people who have turned their passion for healing and wellness into meaningful careers and businesses.
At SWIHA, education extends beyond the classroom. The school regularly opens its doors to the public through events, workshops, presentations, specialty clinics, yoga offerings, and other community experiences.
The Fall Festival is another opportunity to experience what makes the SWIHA community unique.
You don’t need to be a student. You don’t need to have a background in holistic health. You simply need to come with an open mind and a willingness to explore.
Bring a friend. Bring your family. Come meet new people, discover something new, and spend a day celebrating wellness and connection.
