5 Easy Steps to Manifest Your Goals for 2022 with a Vision Board

Posted by Jade Marvin on 12/30/21 4:00 PM

5, 4, 3, 2, 1…Happy New Year! Or should I say 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 ways to manifest your goals with a vision board this New Year! 2022 is practically here, and it's that time of year where everyone is manifesting their dreams, goals, and aspirations for 2022. Oxford dictionary defines Manifestation as ‘an event, action, or object that clearly shows or embodies something, especially a theory or an abstract idea.’ We can manifest what we want in many ways, the Law of Attraction, Journaling, Vision Boards, and more! Vision boards are a great tool to use as a visual representation of your goals and dreams. Having your goals visually in front of you can help clarify and bring focus to what you really want. Vision boards incorporate images that represent what you want to be, do, or have, as well as, phrases/mantras, affirmations, and more that display your goals and dreams.

As the holidays are dwindling down, and the start of the New Year is approaching, we usually begin to think about goals, resolutions, and what we want to accomplish the next year. Typically, when making New Year’s resolutions, people think of really big things they want to change about themselves or their lives. How to Navigate From Your Comfort Zone to Your Growth Zone

Posted by Jade Marvin on 12/16/21 4:00 PM

Life begins at the end of your comfort zone.” - Neale Donald Walsch

The only thing we have to fear is fear itself.” - Franklin D. Roosevelt

The cave you fear to enter holds the treasure you seek.” - Joseph Campbell

These three cliché quotes align with the idea that we are all familiar with, that fear holds us back. Change can be scary, whereas, comfort is easy, familiar, and safe. Comfort zones can hold power over us. We all have comfort zones. They can be both physical and psychological. Regardless of who you are, comfort zones are where we feel the most comfortable and the least challenged. We tend to cling on to comfort zones, even when they no longer serve us. Our brains activate survival mode, and the effort and courage it takes to get outside of our comfort zones can be too much to take. However, there are many ways to break out of your comfortability. Let’s learn to thrive in our discomfort!

Three Ways to Activate the Law of Attraction for Your New Year’s Resolutions

Posted by Jade Marvin on 12/9/21 4:00 PM

Many of us believe that we do not have the power to change our lives or to live our ‘dream’ life. We live our daily lives programmed to do what we are supposed to do. Wake up. Go to work. Eat. Sleep. Repeat. This becomes the system and the wheel of life we become a cog in. How do we attract what we really want for ourselves? To know the Law of Attraction is the first step in making these changes to a happier, more fulfilling life. As defined by Sharon Rose, The Intuitive Guide Program Director here at SWIHA, the Law of Attraction is “a universal law of energy. It acknowledges and has been proved through quantum physics that human beings are constantly and consistently emitting vibrational frequencies, and this energy we emit affects our perception of and experience in, the world. It is the law that says we attract to ourselves that which we are thinking, feeling, saying, and believing.”

Alaric Hutchinson: Finding the “Zen” in a Chaotic World

Posted by Tim Barber on 1/4/18 8:00 AM

When we think about why people seek out life coaching, it might be easy to assume that they do so because they are looking to become successful. Perhaps they want to switch careers, make more money, or gain more recognition. Yet, author, life coach, and Zen Cowboy™ Alaric Hutchinson goes a step beyond that approach to coaching with one simple question: “What comes after success?”

Realizing just how few people are genuinely happy in their lives—no matter how much they have achieved professionally—was a huge breakthrough for Alaric in terms of understanding the individuals who seek out his services. “Money and success (once achieved) do not actually bring about lasting happiness or a sense of peace,” says Alaric. “Many of my clients are high performers and earners trying to figure out why they are still not satisfied in their life. The niche of people I work with all desire inner peace.”

Making Your Dreams and Visions Come True

Posted by Darlene Parrish on 6/13/16 1:17 PM

Vision and Dream boards are fun and easy ways to help you manifest your dreams, goals, and visions. There are several ways to do this. But with manifestation, there must also be persistence and effort!

If this is your first time with vision board work, a great way to start is to simply get clear on just one or two things you really want. If you want to go to Hawaii for a vacation, find a picture of Hawaii that represents your idea, cut the picture out, and then tape it somewhere where you can see it every day. You can place it on your fridge door or on your bathroom mirror. Be sure to look at it for a few minutes every single day and imagine yourself on this vacation. You need to really get into it! See what you want to see: the ocean, the sandy beaches, and mountains! Or close your eyes and hear what you would love to hear, like the ocean waves and birds. Maybe close your eyes and get into the feelings you hope to experience: how it would feel to get to know the local people or how the ocean breeze and warmth of the sun feels on your skin. See if you can actually taste the pineapples and coconuts or even smell the sweet scent of flowers or the salty ocean air.
