Hypnotherapy
Certificate - 100 Hours
Online & On-Campus
Immerse yourself in three foundation modules that focus on personal enrichment and self-empowerment, and start practicing real-life hypnosis sessions. Using Guided Imagery and other techniques, you’ll build confidence and mastery in your ability to aid in the positive transformation of others.
- Gain a strong foundation in the history, theory, and evolution of hypnotherapy
- Observe and gain experience with introductory hypnosis techniques
- Learn to help others reduce pain, improve sleep, and release unhealthy habits
- Gain membership with the National Association of Transpersonal Hypnotherapists (NATH) or the American Board of Hypnotherapy
Certificates of Excellence are areas of concentration designed to take as CEU’s or to be taken within a diploma or degree program; they will not prepare you for gainful employment if taken independently. Only vocational programs of 600 hours or more are eligible for Federal Financial Aid.
Advanced Professional Hypnotherapy
Certificate - 350 Hours
Online & On Campus
Gain a broad skillset and learn how to help clients manage fears, phobias and addictions. You'll explore past life regression therapy, study more advanced hypnotherapy techniques, subconscious intervention, and script writing, as well as learn the skills needed to launch a professional practice.

- Learn advanced hypnotherapy techniques to help clients manage fears, phobias, and addictions
- Explore past life regression therapy and subconscious intervention
- Study script writing to create powerful, recorded hypnotherapy sessions
- Gain marketing skills and business tools for growing a successful hypnotherapy practice
- Online and On-campus students have an opportunity for membership and certification through IMDHA the International Medical and Dental Hypnosis Association.
- On-campus students have the opportunity for membership and certification through ACHE American Council of Hypnotist Examiners
Linda Bennett recently received a LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT AWARD at the NATH Conference (National Association of Transpersonal Hynptherapists) in Virginia.
Linda was the 2022 NATH Conference keynote speaker, where her presentation was surrounding the topic of “Let’s Dive Deep so we can Free ourselves to Soar”. Those surrounding her in this picture are a group of incredible women who are SWIHA graduates, professional hypnotherapists, and also guest speakers at this NATH conference as well.
About Program Director Linda Bennett
Linda Bennett is a Life Coach, Certified as a Clinical Hypnotherapist and Board Certified Hypnotherapy Instructor. She has over twenty years working and teaching in the field of integrative therapies, utilizing techniques such as therapeutic imagery, inner-child work, and past-life regression. Linda believes strongly in treating the whole person, balancing mind, body and spirit.
A firm believer that there is no 'one-size-fits-all' approach, Linda focus is on customizing sessions to fit the individual needs of each client. Drawing on her wealth of experience and knowledge, she provides her student with the tools they need to help others achieve their personal goals and live happier lives.
